 21,500 DIAPERS, PULL-UPS AND UNDIES!

DISTRIBUTED June 2014

In June, 2014, eight local agencies received the Communities Together donation of diapers, pull-up and small children underwear. This marked the 15th year of this important outreach to those in need in the Merrimack Valley. Despite the economy, members of local congregations contributed more than 21,500 items, the majority of which were diapers and pull-ups. Below are the pictures from two years ago showing what that many items look like! A special thanks to Bobbi and Carl Weller that organizes the drive each year. The Wellers are members of the Christian Fellowship of the Merrimack Valley and are also members of the Board of Directors of Communities Together. .Also a special thanks to the Synchronized Swim Team of the Andover-North Andover YMCA that took on diaper collection as a service project. Well done girls!
